We recommend departure times from Seattle to be at the earliest of 10:30 am due to the coastal fog that is common during the summer months. Enroute time from Seattle, including your Canadian customs stop in Sydney or Nanaimo, BC is approximately two hours on your scenic trip across Vancouver Island to Bamfield and Barkley Sound, BC. Your return from Bamfield or Barkley Sound will be direct to Seattle, depending on weather conditions. Generally, the two hour return trip will be down the scenic West Coast of Vancouver Island. We generally clear US Customs at our facility in Renton.

Seattle departures and arrivals are into the Renton Municipal Airports Seaplane Base located on the south end of Lake Washington.
We offer the best connection to and from Seattle Tacoma International Airport. We do provide a free shuttle to the Seattle Airport on your arrival!
